The Marcy Smith Machine / Cage System - SM-4033 takes everything you use at a commercial gym and molds it into a single multi-gym unit for home use.

The Smith Machine portion of the SM-4033 allows you to safely squat and bench press without the need for a spotter. The pulley system works with the arm presses, seated rowing cable, and cable crossovers to deliver an intense workout once thought to only be available at the gym.
To add body weight training, the SM-4033 Smith Machine includes many Power Tower features. Use the multi-grip pull-up bar for pull-ups, chin-ups, etc. Complete dips using the height adjustable dip handles.
The SM-4033 bench provides countless exercises. The weight bench back pad adjusts between -27 degrees and 76 degrees to pinpoint different muscles during your workouts. The bench seat pad is adjustable to ensure your comfort.
The SM-4033 includes an adjustable / detachable preacher curl pad to target your biceps. In addition, just below the preacher pad you’ll find a curl bar rest to easily rest in between sets. When not in use, easily move the bench using the attached transport wheels.
To add to the list of conveniences, the Marcy Smith Machine SM-4033 comes with several attachments / pieces of equipment – Short Bar, Triceps Rope, Cable Handle (2), and a LandMine attachment. When not in use, easily store your bar and weights using the included bar holder and weight posts.
The SM-4033 does not have a leg press or leg developer and one cannot be added to the unit. Calf raises and squats using the included smith bar would target the same muscles, however.

Assembly
The packages were huge and extremely heavy. It took several hours, but was sturdy and my husband loved it. Just wish it had something for me to work my calf muscles.

Marcy SM-4033 Review
For starters, this is a great machine and I am overall impressed with the machine and do not regret the purchase at all. I have owned this machine and been working out with it for 3 weeks now. There are a few minor flaws here and there, but nothing significant. Once again, this machine is great and I would purchase it again, but I do want to point out some of the flaws that I have noticed so that maybe they can be corrected for future purchases. 1. As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, the bench that comes with the SM-4033 is way too tall. The bench needs to be lowered a couple of inches to the ground in order to be able to utilize it properly (but, the bench did come with the machine for free, so I cannot complain too much). 2. The main bar does not rack evenly. You have to sit there and adjust the sides in place prior to being able to lock it. Which can be hard to do with a significant amount of weight on the bar. Basically, the black pieces that go onto the vertical bars have too much "wiggle room" and it makes the racking portion a little difficult. 3. The safety stoppers at the bottom of the vertical bars are too high. They do not allow you to do some exercises because the stoppers are too high. For example, you cannot do straight legged deadlift, because the stoppers do not allow you to go low enough if you want to utilize the proper form. This also applies to a few other exercises. - These are just a few minor flaws that I have noticed in the first 3 weeks of operation. I still would hands down, purchase this machine again and recommend it to others. However, I do wish that these minor flaws would get addressed.

Marcy Smith machine SM-4033
Awesome! I love this machine! So many options to choose from, and a solid machine. My whole family likes to use the sm-4033. The only downside is the assembly time, but it was well worth it. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a upgrade to their current home gym.

There are so many possibilities for this machine. We did order a few attachments and those clips that climbers use verus the ones that come with it.

Damage and customer service
The smith machine works great. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged as well as a barbell I ordered to go with it. Dealing with customer service has been a hassle. Good luck.

Bench
Assembly instructions are pretty good. Pictures with no with tho. When it come to the BENCH. If you aren't 6 foot 5 don't expect to be able to touch the ground or use the decline. Very disappointed in that. Pully system works great after adding 3 in 1 oil. Like I said the bench is a HUGE disappointment as they cost $300+ alone.

SM-4033
Super easy to put together especially with the online video. Had the SM-4033 for 3 weeks now and it is great! Whole body work outs are easy to do. Two things I would like to see improved. The peck deck could use ball bearings and the back rest of the bench could be physically attached to the rest of the bench and operate by a slide so it can be easily lifted to move.

I have only used it for one week so far, but this seems to be a great quality product that will most likely be the last piece of gym equipment I buy. Only one thing would make it better-if it was built in the USA

Best Product in Price Range
This was by far the best deal out of all similar products, even many priced significantly higher. I bought it in the height of the pandemic, and Marcy did not price gouge whatsoever, and delivered it in a very timely manner. I was truly impressed by that. I use it five times a week utilizing just about every feature it offers. Works great. My only issue is the cable twists up and binds very frequently in the back, and I have to keep untwisting it. Nonetheless, the product and Marcys service are both exceptional! I would buy it again without hesitation.

Great machine! The quality is excellent. It is very well build, I am very satisfied with everything. Installation is long, do not rush. Videos on YouTube are very helpful.
