Separate Bench and Bar Catch / Squat Rack
Unlike many Olympic benches, the MD-879 barbell catch / squat rack is not attached to the bench. Simply move the bench away from the barbell catch to use it as a squat rack.
Included Storage Space for Weight Place
For added convenience, the MD-879 Olympic Bench barbell catch has two Olympic pegs to store your weight plates and avoid cluttering your workout space.
Preacher Curls with Preacher Curl Pad / Curl Handle. And, Leg Extensions with Leg Developer
Use the preacher curl pad and curl handle for preacher curls. Preacher curls take better aim at your biceps than regular curls.
The included leg developer provides the option to do leg curls and leg extensions. Leg extensions are great for working out your quadriceps.
Incline Bench Exercises - Incline Presses
With multiple backpad positions, the MD-879 adjustable weight bench provides a wide array of angles to pinpoint specific muscles. Incline Bench Presses target your chest muscles as presses do, however, the incline bench press focuses more on your upper chest muscles.

It sucks
This has to be a joke. The curl station is set up for half curls. Are they joking here?

2 Piece Bench
The seat was bent at an angle. The two support bars were drilled differently so they dont match up. I'm lifting at a cock-eyed angle! In process of getting replacement pieces but we will see.....process slow so far.

Superb first bench
I bought this for my son who wanted to start lifting weights. It has been fabulous for him to use and is very solid.

Quality
Everything is fine but the bench material came wrinkle with creases.

Really good bench
Great bench and just what I needed. My only want is that the seat would pivot up and down and the feet on the bench had floor grips. Other than that great and sturdy. Easy to put together, I did it myself.

Poor paint
Good machine, although not necessarily great for a 6’5” person. In addition, while assembling, I noticed several scratches to the paint and bubbling where the paint did not adhere well. I’ll use it, but not happy with the condition of the product via shipping or manufacturing with regards to its paint job.

Durability over 10 years strong!
I have had this setup for over ten years, I think more like 12 years I but cant remember. I found it while looking for a friend. This was my first home setup I have purchased and it is still going strong! It survived an old basement apartment, now it is in my own home gym! I have since upgraded my equipment with bench and cable machines, but I still use this rack for squats and shoulder presses every week, and I use the bench for lots of workouts. This set still looks brand new after years of heavy use, and I am 6 feet 4 and 230lbs.

Excellent!
(2/2 -- review copied from the other item I purchased) I am not likely the typical purchaser of gym equipment, but I probably represent the new normal. After 20 years of being nickeled and dimed by a national gym chain, the last straw was when they (under COVID) restructured such that the closest gym accessible under my membership level was a 40-mile drive one-way... and I live in suburban Seattle. So, I cleared out space in my garage and purchased this item, another item, and an elliptical. It was easy to assemble, though obviously you need to set aside some time given the number of parts. When I finished assembling all three items (in addition to free weights), I was able to do any exercise I did at the gym. With current gym membership prices, I will break even within two years -- after that, I will save money year-after-year. Couldn't be happier! And delivery was smooth -- despite trucking 1,100 miles up the Coast, COVID, and having to dodge massive wildfires that crossed I-5, I only found one minor scratch in a non-obvious location. That should make it clear that this was well-packed and well-shipped. I will leave it up to the dedicated fitness buffs to opine about the nuances of form and function -- but for the rest of us, you'll be happy with this item.

One of the most versatile bench rack combo on the market
I bought this two-piece Olympic bench set at the end of October, and it arrived in approximately two weeks. The box was weighty as expected. It took me about 6-7 hours to fully assemble it by myself. I recommend doing it with a friend. Logistics aside, I love the bench very much. It is a solid piece of equipment and has held steady during my workouts. i love that I can do so many exercises on this combo. Good one Marcy!!! The only thing missing is a set of casters for the bench to make it more portable.
