In addition, unlike magnetic resistance bikes, air bikes / fan bikes use air as a form of resistance. The air resistance provides a more natural biking feeling. Does the AIR-1 have a chain drive or a belt drive? Technically, it has both; the belt driven bike utilizes a chain and a belt in its air resistance system.
An easy to use computer scans all functions and tracks speed, time, distance and calories and the adjustable seat accommodates users of varying body sizes. Constructed of 14-gauge steel tubing with a powder-coated finish, this Marcy exercise bike is sure to give you years of high-quality home gym cardio training.

Marcy AIR-1 Fan Bike
Every time I "spin up" my Marcy AIR-1 I think to myself, I really must tell them how great this thing is. So here goes... It is so smooth, so quiet, so comfortable, and so solid and well built. It has just the right resistance and air flow at all speeds. I can work hard, or peddle softly for the long haul, and it's always just right. I thank your company every day for the strength in my legs and the aerobic and the cardio benefits! [I'm 83 and still going strong.] Thank you.

Nice bike
I was able to put together by myself. With the exception of the seat which I took into my local hardware store and the nice young strong man screwed it on for me. The console didn’t work but they sent a replacement quickly to me. Bike works great. A little noisy as reported but not bad. Fits a female frame well. Some air bikes are male sized. Seat uncomfortable! I purchased a seat cover off Amazon and I would recommend doing that. All in all pleased with this purchase.

Great price, great value!
This bike is exactly what I was looking for at a very good price. I had knee replacement surgery and when my knee tightens up I just peddle the tightness away. I would say this bike is probably not sturdy enough for a very large person. But for an average person like me it’s wonderful.
